Yingde Gases Cooperates with BASF Shanshan in Building an End-to-End Materials Supply Chain for Sustainable Battery Production

Yingde Gases Group (hereinafter referred to as Yingde Gases) signed an industry chain strategic cooperation agreement with BASF Shanshan Battery Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BASF Shanshan). According to the agreement, BASF Shanshan and Yingde Gases will cooperate in various projects, such as efficient air separation coupled with oxygen recovery, development of oxygen recovery technology, and low-energy oxygen and nitrogen production. With its green and low-carbon-footprint gas supply services, Yingde Gases will help BSBM to become a leading environment-friendly and responsible cathode material manufacturer in the industry as well as support the progress and development of the new material industry in the field of low-carbon and environmental protection technologies.

In attendance at the signing ceremony were Hunan Province Party Committee leaders, Changsha municipal government leaders, Changsha National High Tech Industrial Development Zone directors, BASF global and BASF Shanshan executives, and Yingde Gases chief officers.

Designs for new product lines possess a high degree of flexibility while utilizing several innovative energy recovery technologies, effectively increasing capacity while at the same time reducing carbon emissions within the value chain, guiding electromobility on the path toward a more sustainable future.
