AirPower Technologies Makes Foray into Southeast Asia, Forges Ahead with Globalization Strategy
AirPower Technologies on April 19, 2022, signed an agreement with Singapore-based Smart Gas for strategic investment. This investment signals AirPower Technologies’ foray into the Southeast Asian market – a milestone achievement in the company’s globalization strategy.
Since Smart Gas was established in 2004, it has become a well-known cross-border industrial gas company in Singapore, possessing close to 300 ISO tank containers. Smart Gas produces and sells liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid carbon dioxide, and bottled gas, providing end-to-end distribution services as well. The company has capitalized on its own strengths – discerning market insight and an extensive business network among others – to provide clients across the Asia-Pacific region with differentiated added-value services.
In July of 2021, PAG-owned Yingde Gases and Baosteel Gases merged to become AirPower Technologies. AirPower Technologies is now one of China’s leading large-scale purveyors of industrial gases, possessing capacity and know-how in on-site gas supply, clean energy, wholesale, design and engineering, as well as hydrogen energy and rare gases, serving domestic and overseas clients in the industries of steel, chemicals, semiconductors, solar power, photovoltaic, food and beverage, healthcare, new materials, energy and environmental protection, providing tailor-made solutions for the use of gases, as well as differentiated construction engineering services.
With the signing of this strategic accord, AirPower Technologies brings to the table its own resources, capital, experience and technical prowess, joining hands with Smart Gas to make inroads into the Southeast Asian market, providing premium-quality, high-performance, dynamic and reliable industrial gas solutions to an even larger client base.
